Note that these are all the things Pinterest consultants have been blogging about for months – nothing new here unless you’re a total Pinterest newbie.

If you already have a Pinterest account, you can easily convert it to a business page.

They also include a Pinterest brand guidelines section for use of their own brand by other businesses.

When you boil it down, the Business Pages for Pinterest aren’t really much different from having your own personal Pinterest account – at least not at the moment. But rest assured, there will soon be some kind of advertising and commerce tools, and I’m betting measurement and analytics tools as well.

Are you planning to convert your business over to a Business Page on Pinterest?

I’d love to see it – can you share a link, Taryn?

Hoping Pinterest doesn’t become another censored and overpriced Facebook for small businesses.

And now to decide if I’m a business or a person.
